WALES HAIKU
JOURNAL
Spring 25/26
The Wales Haiku Journal is curated and edited by a team of two - reading carefully, caring deeply, and trying to do right by every poem that comes our way.
Each season, we read and respond to thousands of poems, discuss selections carefully, and edit and format each issue by hand. Alongside the journal, we also run our companion space, the Word Emporium, a place that explores words, their meanings, and the ways they shape how we see the world.
As the journal continues to grow, we’re inviting readers who value this work to help support its sustainability. If you enjoy this edition, discovered a poem you’ve returned to, or found something meaningful elsewhere on the site, reader support helps us continue.
If you’d like to support the work behind this edition, some readers choose to contribute in the following ways:
-
£5 - a coffee for the editors
-
£10 - support the making of an edition
-
£25 - help sustain the journal across the seasons
-
£50 - annual supporter of Wales Haiku Journal & the Emporium
Any amount is appreciated. There is no obligation.

If you find yourself returning to the edition, you’re very welcome to download the edition and enjoy it offline.
